Here is a great twisted copper  loose ring snaffle from the exceptional bit maker Don Hansen. Lightweight, sleeved ends to prevent pinching, and has a wider diameter mouth. Copper is a soft material, meant to promote salivation and chewing. This bit has seen some use, and has some flat spots from chewing, but has not sharp ends. The use makes this nice bit even more affordable!
