    Description

Original Mid Century Chairs Designed by Jack Heaney
Pair of Aluminum and Canvas stacking chairs designed by Jack Heaney.  Part of the MOMA design collection
These chairs were manufactured by Treitel-Gratz Co, Inc, 142 East Thirty Second Street, New York.
The manufactoring labels on are the underpart of the frames.
The aluminum frames and solid and sturdy, stack easily.
The canvas seat covers are intact and are laced underneath through gromets.  The underside color is a darker blue, the tops are quite faced.
The seat backs are also faced on the outside and have a darker blue inside.  It would be possible to have replicas of the canvas seats and back made, or possible dyed.
The chairs have a great look.  They are 32" tall to the top of the back, 19" wide, 19.5" deep and the seat height is 18.5"
A stacking chair designed by Jack Heaney featuring sculptural frames of tubular aluminum with blue canvase sling seats and back rests. Part of the permanent design collection of MoMA. Designed by Heany in 1947, made by Treitel - Gratz Co. in the USA, circa late 1940s.
Great Pair of Mid Century Modern Designer Chairs.  Can be picked up in northern NJ or I can ship.  It will be a large box, but the chairs are very lightweight.
