Fresh to the market is this wonderful Art Deco Westinghouse Vader Power-Aire fan that dates to the 1930s.
Excellent design and detailing.
Retains its original metal label marked, 11-25-36. Serial CH 922282 Cat No 10-SQ-03
This model is one of the first in a series of Westinghouse Power-Aire fans to be introduced around 1936. It can be used as a oscillating table model or be wall mounted.
Featuring a 3 speed switch with a very Deco Bakelite switch knob, it is completely original with exception of a closely matched power cord.
It has a 10 inch diameter deep pitched brown Micarta blade, and the dimensions are 17 1/2 inches tall X 11 inches wide.
The oscillating mechanism can be easily engaged and disengaged by pulling up or depressing the brass knob on the motor housing.
Great to excellent overall original condition. The only apology is minor loss to its original dark brown metallic paint.
This excellent antique Art Deco fans runs smoothly and quietly and would make an important addition to any collection of early American antique fans.
It works great! It was my my fathers who collected a variety of things. The cord looks a little damaged but the fan works great.
