    Period Deco Presentation Desk Set in Bronze and Brass, Smith Metal Arts
    A sign of power in business and industry ~ the formal desk set in bronze. This vintage Silvercrest bronze and brass desk set was made by Smith Metal Arts Co, c1940s. Deco design is stunning. The lamp base is engraved:
    James Ralph Scott MD, President 1936-1942, Presented by the Board of Directors, New York Diabetes Association.
    Lamp marked 1646-133; letter holder marked103-133.  The set is in very fine condition with only the most minor show of wear from age and normal use in some small scattered shallow surface scratches, predictably most prevalent on the lamp base. Works fine but we always advise that with any vintage electrified piece, the wiring should be checked out by a professional before being used.  Lamp 11 3/8" tall, with a base 13 1/16" x 4 9/16". Letter holder
