2014+
We sell TIPM Fuel Pump Relay Bypass for most Dodge Jeep Chrysler and some VW models in our other auctions.
Why is ours the best? We use the highest quality 14 AWG Silicone, High Temp (200c) wire. This doesn't kink or pinch and is very flexible. Our 400 Strand Silicon Jacket wire allows these cables to route easily within the confines of your fuse box without having to worry about pinched wires or straining your fuse sockets. 14 AWG wire is upgraded to provide 20 amp capacity. Don't settle for a hacked solution to save a dollar or two!
TIPM and Fuel Relay bypass cables are a simple way to test or bypass faulty fuel pump relay problems on many newer Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler vehicles. If your vehicle acts like it's out of gas and/or your fuel pump continues pumping after turning the vehicle off (draining your battery), you likely have a faulty fuel pump relay.
Our TIPM bypass/repair kit contains:
Custom bypass cable and necessary fuses (wire colors may vary due to manufacturing requirements).
Our TIPM cables are custom made and individually tested so we know each one is ready to go as soon as you receive it.
Because manufacturers decided the fuel pump relay should be buried on the circuit board of the TIPM it is not easily repaired or replaced as in years past. Sadly, the fuel pump relay is the most common relay to fail since it's powered on 100% of the time while you're driving. The manufacturer decided to make this wear item a certain way to get you back to the dealer...until now.
You probably found this auction because your vehicle won't start or the fuel pump is stuck on running your battery down. Your mechanic says you need a new fuel pump(0+) or a new TIPM (00-1800+).
Faulty TIPM or fuel pump relay symptoms include:
Cold starting trouble, vehicle starting on second or third try. Unfortunately, this problem gets worse over time and sometimes instantly you have no power to your fuel pump.
Unexplained battery draining due ton stuck relay in the on position.
Vehicle stutters, surges or stalls while driving. This is sometimes caused by the fuel pump relay.
In my experience, the most common problem is that the vehicle just won't start and appears to be out of gas.
Additional fitment:
For other vehicles see our other auctions. Many other vehicles can use this method to test/bypass the fuel pump relay even if it is an onboard relay as long as your vehicle uses micro2 blade fuses.
How we solve the problem:
Our cable bypasses the TIPM/fuel pump relay saving hundreds of dollars in repair or replacement!
No skills are necessary if you can open your fuse box and you'll have your vehicle running again in less than 5 minutes.
There are hundreds of thousands of these vehicles on the road having this issue, be prepared in advance and save yourself a tow to your mechanic or dealer.
If you have a repair facility, it's great to have cables on hand to give your customers an option or to quickly test for TIPM or fuel pump relay issues in Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/VW vehicles with no start or dead battery symptoms.
Note:
If you own a 2011-2013 Dodge Durango or Jeep Grand Cherokee that was repaired with an external relay per the recall, this cable won't work due to wires being changed by the dealer.
This cable does not solve problems that are not fuel related unless you are bypassing another relay.
While we have hundreds of our cables in use with no problems, our product is only sold for use at the buyers discretion. Basic instructions and installation videos are readily available online to attach this cable between an accessory power and fuel pump fuses (usually M37 to M25 on TIPM-7 vehicles). We are engineers but we do not provide automotive advice.
Returns:
Due to the low cost of these TIPM cables tested in our facility before shipping, we do not offer returns. While we have never found a defective harness, if you receive a flawed unit, we will ask for some evidence but can quickly swap once your defective unit is returned.
