    HMP1
    The HMP1 was born as electronic body throttle tester.
    But early grown new functions, until convert it in the most complete tool in the market for sensors and actuators testing.
    Today you can get 25 tools in a single device and maintain a easy usage way.
    Thanks to the screen you can read clearly all information coming from sensors.
    No software, no updates, no montly fees.
    With a Heavy Duty manufacture for a long lifetime.
    One of the goals of HMP1 is the rear connector. This allow make new connector yourself and you get the liberty to grow your tool without depend of nobody.

    -Frequencymeter, reads the pulses and displays: Frequency, Pulse width, and on / off times in milliseconds.
    -Lambdometer reads the operation of lambdas probes with progress bar

    -Logic tip, lets you know if a cable is disconnected, if it has 0v, 5v or 12v and tells you if it is continuous or pulsed.

    Body throttle test
    The HMP1 has 2 ways to test throttle bodies.
    There are 2 functions of the HMP1 that allow you to test a throttle body, they are "Throttle" and "Search". Both functions are completely different in their internal functioning although they are similar in handling.
    Throttle.
    It is based on increasing the power on the engine and the movement is the consequence of the applied power. It is ideal for cleaning the throttle body, to test that the gears are not binding, and to appreciate a smooth and continuous movement. Hand movement can be assisted.
    Search.
    It is based on reading the TPS and applying the necessary power to fix the shutter in the place selected with the “+” or “-” buttons. It allows a more precise positioning of the shutter. The system takes the position of the reading of the TPS sensors, so a failure in these can cause erratic movement of the shutter. This test mode is ideal for checking the status of the TPS for skips or cuts in the tracks.
    -Test that the butterflies open and close manually
    -Test that the butterflies open and close automatically
    -Informs the status of the TPS1 sensor
    -Informs the status of the TPS2 sensor
    -Informs the consumption of the motor coil
    -Allows to open the butterfly for cleaning.
    -Generate a complete report informing:
    -Full range of motion of the TPS1 sensor
    -Full range of motion of the TPS2 sensor
    -Maximum difference between TPS1 & TPS2 sensors and place where it occurred
    -Continuity of the tracks
    -Maximum motor current consumption
    -Polarity of the motor
    -Consumption of set of TPS sensors
    -Detect short circuits.
    -Internal thermal protection
    -Helps to diagnose mechanical problems in the acceleration body.
    -Helps to diagnose sensor problems.
    -Helps to clean the acceleration body.
    Common fails on TPS sensors
    CMP & CKP Reading/Generating
    Electronic injection cars have at least one crankshaft position sensor. The sensor is called CKP.
    It is magnetically coupled to a gear that is missing (or left over) some teeth. This gear is called a phonic wheel.
    The most modern cars have another sensor on camshaft (CMP)
    Both sensors must have a perfect sync. On fail, the car can refuse start.
    The HMP1 can read both pulses simultaneously and make a sync map of camshaft.
    As the reader must know the signal of CMP is repeated every 720 degrees of Crankshaft, is say 2 complete turns of CKP
    Also note that the CMP sensor is in phase with the CKP, on this way the injection know exactly where is each part of engine in all moment.
    The points A, B, C, and D are part of the phase map between crankshaft and camshaft os imaginary car.
    For a car the point A represent the tooth 4 of CKP, the point B of CMP represent the teeth 18 of CKP, C=33 and D=72 respectively.
    A bad mount of timing belt will be showed with these points
