A sweet but simple blacksmith in a Western boomtown saves his earnings and sends them back East in what turns out to be a scam for a mail-order bride. Eventually the giant, downcast, decides to leave town and the townspeople convince the new saloon girl Sadie to play the part of the mail-order bride in order to retain the services of the blacksmith. This was to be the final film of Dan Blocker, who died prematurely from complications from gall bladder surgery.
