    This bit is marked with the Reinsman logo on the inside of the ring.    The mouthpiece is thin for increased responsiveness.   It is often used for short training sessions to lighten up a horse.   The mouthpiece is coated in Sweet Iron.   According to Reinsman, “Sweet Iron is intended to rust and promotes salivation which makes a more supple feeling mouth.

    This bit is used but in very good condition.   It has marks from normal use and the Sweet Iron has rusted as intended, but nothing that should effect its performance in any way.  On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being new, mint condition, I would give this bit a 8+.   A very nice quality bit, especially for training horses!
