Description
In the 1990s I lived in a West Hollywood apartment building where most of the tenants were actors, director or producers. Everybody knew everyone and we would gather at the pool in the afternoons to share industry information. One of the actors was Franklin Cover, well known for playing the white neighbor on "The Jeffersons." The summer of '92 he had gone to read for the Coen Brothers in an early draft of "The Hudsucker Proxy," written with Sam Raimi. I told Frank Cover how much I admired the Coen Brothers, and he gave me his script. The number three is from production, as it is typical to number scripts when actors gather to read, and the red pen marks are Frank Cover's notes from the characters he read for them. This is revised first draft of the script, dated 5/8/92, 128 pages, everything original including the fastening brads. The last page has considerable table wear and the holes are torn, but it is otherwise in good shape. There are no missing pages. The wear is consistent with an actors' table read.
All my listings come from a smoke-free, healthy home and will be carefully wrapped for shipment wearing gloves and using an extra protective layer of wrap to get safely to you.
