The Mummy's Return Bernard Schubert 1944 Screenplay, Lon Chaney Jr. last time

Description

This movie script is dated July 18 1944 and it is titled the mummies return
if you look this up in Wikipedia you'll find out that later on when they made the movie they changed
the title to the mummy's revenge.
it's the original story by Leon Abrams and Dwight V Babcock  and the screenplay is by Bernard Schubert
at the top of the front cover in hand writing in pencil it says casting and there is other writing on the hardcover
I cannot I'm sorry not on the hard cover on the front cover and I cannot make it out
maybe you can it's moderately wrinkled it's old it's worn around the edges front and back and some of the pages also
but it is an old original script from the movie set
why do I know this because it's got casting sheets in it
there are 2 of them maybe I should call them call sheets
the first one is dated Wednesday August 9th of 44
and it says gungho stage 16-17 and it's got the names of who is on call that day including  lon Chaney junior.
Kay Harding, holmes Herbert, Virginia Christine, extras at cetera etc
and it's got remarks for the different people and then it's typed at the bottom .Kenny KENNY the assistant director and it's got some phone numbers to call the infirmary and such and betty's tent I don't know who Betty is and it's got her extension
then the second call sheet is dated Tuesday August 8 of 44 and it just says stage 16 and it's got of course lon Chaney junior and other famous people from back then
or les goodwins is the director and Joe Kinney is the assistant director
then I got another sheet and I'm not sure if this is related or from another movie but it's got TANTE BERTHE apostrophe s** cafe and it's got writing on one side typing with handwritten notes in pencil all over and on the back its got another note or something in pencil in handwriting
and then after that it's got a couple loose pages
there are 3 more loose pages one is page 2 and it's dated August 10th of 44
and the other is page 3 and it is dated August 8 of 44
they've got some different dialogue on them and again some pencil marks and notes written on them words changed in such
and these are like a see-through type of very light paper I forget what you called it and then the third sheet is also dated August 10th of 44
and it says dialogue for HALSEY scenes 25 through part of 45 and it's got his dialogue there
also on almost clear paper very light so
as you look through the script or screenplay you can see there are many many cross outs many new dates written many words substituted and lots lots of writing in pencil and then when you get to page 12 you will see there are 2 page 12 one is blue and it is dated July 28 of 44 and it's called the lumleys return dash changes and then if you look at the other page 12 it is in the regular page color so the blue page with the changes on it is completely different color than the other ones the next page 12 everything is crossed out in pencil so this blue page is the revised page 12 and on the back of the original page hold it's got notes and dialogue and then when you get to PG 13 lots crossed out lots of dialogue and it's got the date of 85 also written on there so this script was reworked and reworked and reworked lots of things crossed out lots of words changed repeatedly throughout the whole script when you get to the very end you can see that the inside cover all the back it's the cover from another movie script screenplay this back cover is actually the front cover of the invisible man's revenge screenplay by burtram willhauser December 22 1943 so they used a previous years screenplay cover for the back cover of this and at the very top it is signed in hand writing in pencil Clark Ramsay and it is the same condition as everything else bring cold Brad bound and hold if you like to take a look at this or buy it I'm putting up for sale and
