Vintage 1980's US Army M17A1 Chem-Bio Gas Mask & Carry Bag. Based on the nomenclature/information stamped on the mask and the features, this appears to have been manufactured/issued in the
1984/1985 timeframe.
Seems to have had very little use. Leg and waist straps functional, mask retains a seal when tightened down, both the internal eye pieces and outserts are clear. As is common with an M17A1 of this vintage, the outserts have a slight yellow tint. This model has the built-in
voice emitter system that facilitates communication, and a drinking tube that fits the M1 canteen (not included). Pouch is in good shape and all the snaps work. Will ship quickly via USPS Medium Flat Rate box. Thanks for looking.
