Vintage "At Dawn of Day" Greeting Card from 1902
"At Dawn of Day"
When the Golden shafts of light steal across the pearly sky, and roses drink the dewdrops that in each chalice lie, while the waking birds trill sweetly, from their nests, a main lay, oh I the world is at it's fairest at the dawning of the day.
When "The dew of youth" is sparkling on life's roses fresh and sweet,  hope sings her songs of gladness the coming day to greet, and her lap is filled with blossoms to scatter o'er our way; The life is at it's fairest at the dawning of the day.
And the silver river floweth it's flowery banks between, no sound or sight discordant Mars the beauty of the blossoms we just a moment stay, then in trusting hope of forward at the dawning of the day.
And when the gold and crimson illumes our western sky, when the sweet clear stars of everything spread their bright canopy, the "Glory the shall follow" will never fade away, For, joy that has no ending is the dawning of that day.
