WW1 WW2 US VAD Nurse Uniform Darker Blue Dress 2 Aprons Hat Sash Shower Curtain

I am selling a fantastic 50 year collection of World War 1/World War 2 items. These items are special to me because they came from one of my mentors. This gentleman is a fanatic collector who only purchased the best of the best. Do not miss this once in a lifetime chance to own a true piece of American history. Up for your consideration we have this grouping of WW1 or WW2 VAD Voluntary Aid Detachment dress, hat, two aprons, a sash, canvas shower curtain, and folding canvas fold over case/holder. Unsure of the exact era as I'm finding conflicting information. The dress is not the light blue but a vibrant blue which from what I could find, this generally signified it was worn by a nurse. Buttons are not sewn on but held on by cotter pins, belt is still with dress. hat/cap does not have red cross logo which I understand disappeared early in WW1 and then came back during the inter War period. There are two aprons, with red sewn on patches and pockets that have been added. A long canvas sash, a canvas carrying fold over bag, and a Federal canvas shower curtain approx. 35" across. The canvas sash, bag, curtain items were found together with the uniform dress but unsure whether they were actually used during the same period. Aprons have yellowing and staining from age/use and there is some darker red spotting as well. They have the been there look. Dress size looks to be smaller, shoulder to shoulder approx. 13.25", bust approx. 14", length overall approx. 37" shoulder to bottom. The white cuffs and neckline cuff on dress are yellowed with age. With all jewelry with stones, stones sizes and amounts are figured by calculation. (for an accurate total, you would have to remove the stones from the settings) During measurements there is some degree of calculation, so it is an approximation. I am not a jeweler I do the best of my ability and knowledge.
In regards to our time pieces (watches, clocks etc.)  We verify the condition when they leave our office and will be stated as working or not working. All working watches may still need to be  professionally cleaned/serviced in order to keep time accurately. Each of our time pieces are vintage and used to a different degree. If you purchase multiple items, please wait for an invoice! On jewelry items, we combine shipping as much as possible. If it fits into a small flat rate box it will ship for that price. After that it will go by weight. Larger items/collectibles can sometimes be combined if items can be shipped safely. Please inquire beforehand. Please request a total or wait for a combined invoice before paying. Per eBay shipping standards, we must ship any items that have been paid within 24 hours.  All purchases must be paid within 7 days-if you are purchasing multiple items, request a total or request a combined invoice to receive combined shipping.

When possible all of our items are shipped with-in 48 hours of our receipt of payment. All items if size permits are shipped in USPS Priority Mail flat rate boxes, or parcel post. Shipping fees are based on our direct cost provided to us by the USPS.  We do not ship out of the country for any reason.

To avoid loss in transit while returning, please insure the product and ship it back to us. You may contact us prior to the shipment you make, so that we can confirm well in advance the return procedure and return address to ensure that your experience in dealing with me is a pleasant one.
Returns Policy
All returned items must be in the original condition and holder.
Returns must be sent back insured for the price you paid, as well as with tracking/delivery confirmation.
We will refund sale price after we receive the item.
NO RETURNS after 15 days of receipt.
NO RETURNS if the item is damaged, resized. You must return an item in the same condition as it was received.
Items that aren't in the condition in which they were received, including signs of wear or resizing, can't be returned.
Bidders with less than 10 feedbacks must contact me before bidding otherwise bids may be cancelled at my discretion.
Damaged Broken Items During Shipment:
By purchasing an item from us you are agreeing to assist in the insurance claims process as the USPS states. This situation rarely happens but both parties must participate in order to get the a refund.   You will have to provide photos of broken item, packaging and shipping materials.  If buyer does not assist in this process, we will not be able to collect from USPS and therefore we will not be able to issue you a refund.
