    Description

WWI US Army Doughboy Uniform Coat Jacket 3rd Army with three patches chevrons
The red chevron is an Honorably Discharged patch.  Sewing in on a shirt, jacket or overcoat allowed officers and men to wear these items for 6 months after coming home, just like the "Ruptured Duck" patch used from WWII to Vietnam.
The upside down chevrons on the cuff indicate the length of time in service, like hash marks today.  Each chevron was for 6 months so two is one year.
    2 semaphore flags
    large ship flag
    flashlights
These have always been in my family. Looking for a good home.
