    WWI Era AEF USMC Marine Corps Officer's Sam Brown Belt Leather Sword or Saber Hanger Chape
    - Excellent Condition
    Up for auction is a WWI Era AEF USMC Marine Corps Officer's Sam Brown Belt Leather Sword or Saber Hanger Chape.  This is the strap which is commonly seen in old photos of WWI Officers, supporting the sword from the belt.  This strap is used, please see photo's for Condition.  Still soft and supple.  Nice black color, it is marked: N.S. Meyer Inc. New York.   Will fit a 2" wide belt.
    This would make a welcomed addition to any WWI Collection.
